Neymar was called up by Brazil for this FIFA International Break
Neymar Jr
Neymar Jr. became the main signing for Al Hilal this summer. The 31-year-old Brazilian closed his chapter in Europe to compete in the Saudi Pro League, a competition that has gained popularity during this summer.\
The forward signed a contract with the Saudi team in a transfer worth around $105 million, which ties him to the institution for two seasons with an option for one more. Neymar’s move represents one of many players who have opted to move to the Middle Eastern country, a business model that has been criticized by many.
However, in Neymar’s own words, he still has goals to achieve in football.
Neymar’s Objectives
During an interview with Globo Esporte, the former PSG player stated that he still aspires to fulfill his ultimate dream, which is to win the World Cup. He also clarified that in Brazil, you don’t have to be the best player in the world to win a World Cup, making a comparison with himself and Zico, who, despite being a legend, never won a World Cup. Finally, the São Paulo native did not rule out returning to Santos in Brazil in the future. He even said it was a sure thing that he would return to the club where he was born.
