Skyscraper is a 2018 American action thriller film .In the film, Will Sawyer, a former FBI agent, must rescue his family from a newly built Hong Kong skyscraper, the tallest in the world, after terrorists set the building on fire in an attempt to extort the property developer. The first non-comedy of Thurberโs career, it also marks his second collaboration with Johnson, following Central Intelligence
It remains to be seen if Skyscraper sticks around on the Netflix Top 10 after this weekโs debut. However, if it does, it could potentially garner enough audience interest that proper talks could begin around a sequel. Johnson and his team have made a habit of recognizing when there is audience demand for further entries in a franchise, so Skyscraper 2 could very well become a possibility
