It has been an ongoing fight all season between these three teams and they have broken away from the rest to go head-to-head-to-head for the trophy.

With only a few points separating them, there are many twists and turns still to come before one gets their hands on some silverware.

Here, talkSPORT.com takes a look at the title race run-in…

Arsenal lead the way but City have a game in hand

Arsenal – 1st

Arsenal will have been reliving memories of last season following a damaging loss to Aston Villa at the Emirates.

The Gunners looked to be going from strength to strength but they lost their grip on the title race against Villa.

Mikel Arteta’s side experienced a collapse last year and they will be keen to prevent that happening again.

But as things stand, the title is now Man City’s to lose.

They have bounced back from that loss though and three successive wins – including two London derby victories over rivals Chelsea and Tottenham – have put them clear at the top of the table again.

It puts them in the power position but City have a game in hand so they are relying on them to slip up.

Arsenal arguably have the toughest run-in on paper, having to still face Man United away from home in their final three games.

And that could prove to be the difference in the end…

Manchester City – 2rd

Man City are used to this type of title race and they have already taken advantage of their rivals slipping up.

Pep Guardiola’s side usually come out on top in a pressured situation and after winning a historic treble last season, they clearly know how to step up.

That experience of winning trophies is proving to be crucial once again for City who are now two points clear at the top of the table.

It’s in their hands and their final few games will please them, only playing one more ‘Big Six’ side in Tottenham until the end of the season.

City have been knocked out of the Champions League too, meaning their full focus will be on the Premier League.

And that is dangerous for their fellow title challengers, with Guardiola not having to rotate and being able to use his biggest stars every week.

Liverpool – 3rd

Liverpool have also slipped up in the Premier League title race.

The Reds were top not too long ago but are now in danger of finishing way off in third.

With Jurgen Klopp leaving at the end of the season, they are desperate to end on a high.

But two defeats and a draw in their past four games have ended their ambitions to become champions at the end of the season.

With the pressure now off, Klopp’s side can now focus on ending their manager’s reign strongly before entering the Arne Slot era.
