According to Daily Mail, Manchester City’s interest in Gvardiol is concrete and the player is interested in a change of scenery for next season. In that sense, the player is of concrete interest of Pep Guardiola and can support in the lower area of the club. However, an important figure in between, is what his current club is asking for.
It should be recalled that in the summer of 2022, Manchester City negotiated the signing of Haaland for a great price as it is 60 million euros. An amount, which seems to have ended up coming cheap because of what the Norwegian brings every time on the field. However, for Gvardiol, RB Leipzig will accept an even higher amount.

In order for the Croatian defender to end up wearing the colors of Manchester City next season, RB Leipzig will not accept an amount lower than €100 million. A figure that is achievable for the Citizens, but still extremely high for a young defender. However, if necessary, the team will have to shell out that money, pending negotiation of a better deal.
